“Careers Expo 2026” Competition Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction 1.1. These terms and conditions apply to the “Careers Expo 2026” (“the Competition”). By entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Organizer 2.1. The Competition is organized by The Neil Porter Legacy (“NPL”), located at 40 Kepler Street, Warrnambool.

3. Eligibility 3.1. The Competition is open to residents of Australia in the South West Region, aged 14 – 18, except for employees of the Neil Porter Legacy and their immediate family members, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition. 3.2. Proof of age and/or identity may be required upon request.

4. How to Enter 4.1. To enter the “Careers Expo 2026” Competition, participants must complete the entry form and submit via the QR code entry form. 4.2. Entries must be received by Tuesday 10 March 2026. Late entries will not be considered. 4.3. No purchase is necessary to enter.

5. Prize(s) 5.1. The prize(s) for the Competition are as follows: The 1st prize for the “Careers Expo 2026” Competition is an iPhone 17; the 2nd prize is a pair of Apple AirPods Pro 3. 5.2. The prize(s) is/are non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.

6. Winner Selection 6.1. Winners will be selected by a judging panel on Wednesday 11 March 2026. 6.2. The winner will be notified by phone within 10 days of the closing date. 6.3. If a winner does not respond within 10 days, the prize may be forfeited and a new winner may be selected.

7. Publicity 7.1. By entering the Competition, participants agree to the use of their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

8. General Terms 8.1. The Competition is subject to all applicable local laws and regulations. 8.2. The Neil Porter Legacy reserves the right to disqualify any participant who does not comply with these terms and conditions or who engages in fraudulent behaviour. 8.3. The Neil Porter Legacy is not responsible for any technical issues, such as website or server errors, that may prevent entry. 8.4. The Neil Porter Legacy reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Competition if any unforeseen event occurs.

9. Liability 9.1. The Neil Porter Legacy will not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from participation in the Competition or acceptance of any prize, except as required by law.

10. Data Protection 10.1. By entering the Competition, participants agree to the collection and processing of their personal data for the purpose of the Competition. Personal data will not be shared with third parties except as necessary for the administration of the Competition and prize delivery.

11. Governing Law 11.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Victoria.
